Operation Blue Town
Hybrid threat network led by Bravo Marek operates across the Blue Town border region, blending criminal smuggling with irregular activity. Friendly forces hold the line of communication along MSR AMBER. Partner nation forces control fixed border crossing sites.
Task Force Torch conducts security operations in AO BLUE TOWN commencing 2026-05-06 to disrupt the Marek network's freedom of movement and protect the line of communication, in order to set conditions for partner-led interdiction.
Intent: deny the network unobserved crossing sites while preserving partner primacy. Concept: 2d Cavalry Sqdn screens east of MSR AMBER (supporting effort), 1st Combined Arms Bn secures the line of communication (main effort), MI Collection Det answers the S2 collection plan, 3d Infantry Bn remains reserve at N+72. Coordinating instructions: crossing site reports within 15 minutes, CCIR per Annex B.
Forward Support Co operates the Poznan hub. Classes III and V pushed along MSR AMBER on 48 hour cycle. Maintenance priority to the main effort.
Commander locates with the main effort during gunnery. Succession: S3, then 1st CAB commander. Primary comms per Annex H; report on the operations net.
